Santa Ponsa - what, where, when and how
|
The area of Santa Ponsa began its development
around 30 years ago and is centered around a large sandy
beach and pine wooded park area, there is a further
smaller beach and a pretty harbour.
There is a main night time area, which offers a variety
of bars,
nightclubs
and discos, many of them offer live music. Additionally,
the very popular 'Plaxa de los Jardinos'
( Garden Square), offers free live entertainment on
a nightly basis throughout the summer months
The city of Palma and the international Suan Juan airport
are just 25 miles away and as such are easily accessible.The
neighbouring resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova are just
a few miutes drive away and offer a variety of additional
activities including the very popular Aqua Park and
a 27 hole floodlit mini golf.
For golfers there are 11 golf courses including the
championship course at Santa Ponsa which was foremerly
used as a venue on the professional European Golf Tour.
There are 41 Marinas nearby including the millionaire's
playground of Portal Nous.
